This was such a fantastic way to spend a crisp, Sunday morning. About 20 of us met at the beautiful Congaree National Park yesterday for a Walk-and-Talk. Gabby, a CNP park ranger, was such a delight and accompanied us throughout our 1.5 hour hike to share stories, facts, and more.
The Congaree National Park is truly a place to make time for if you have not visited yet. Covering over 26,000 acres, this is a forest of giants, wildlife, and home to the largest intact expanse of old-growth bottomland hardwood forests left in the southeastern US.
